Ford is making its new vehicles more sustainable by utilizing recycled materials, renewable materials, and lighter weight materials.
As you'll see, these don't affect performance. You've got the same favorite Ford models, but with cleverly environmental parts.
Since 2011, Ford has been using soy-based seat foam in all models manufactured in North America. This reduces carbon emissions, as well as reducing the use of petroleum-based foams.
Upholstering those renewable foam seats is fabric made from at least 25 percent post-consumer or post-industrial recycled material.
Did you know the carpet beneath your feet may be between 25 and 100 percent recycled?
The Ford F-150 has gone on a diet. To consume less fuel, the new model has shed around 700 pounds by using lighter weight (yet more durable) aluminum body panels.
