Ford is getting pretty comfortable with its reputation as an ethical manufacturer, but it isn't getting lazy. Ford has maintained its position on Ethisphere Institute's list of World’s Most Ethical Companies® for seven years running because it continues to push for higher and higher standards of corporate responsibility.

For instance, this year, Ford became the first automotive company to join the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition, a non-profit organization made up of electronics companies dedicated to improving environmental sustainability and social conditions throughout their supply chains.

That means coming up with strategies to reduce carbon emissions, and reduce water use. It means making standards for working conditions for manufacturing facilities all over the globe, and conducting audits to make sure those standards are being met.

Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company said, "This honor celebrates our employees who are committed to doing the right things and making the right choices. Ethics and corporate citizenship are the foundation of what drives us to make people’s lives better."

Join us at Salem Ford in celebrating another year of high standards, and test drive a new Ford vehicle.
